UAW LOCALS 122 RETIREE’S CHAPTER MEETING MINUTES Dec 13, 2026

 

Retiree Chairman Joseph Guarino called the meeting to order on Friday, December 12, 2025, at
11:00 am.

The Chairman requested a motion to accept the September 12, 2025, meeting minutes as
presented. A motion was made and seconded, and the meeting minutes were approved.

Any remaining 2025 OTC and HRA/WEX benefit dollars must be used by December 31, 2025
—unused dollars will not roll over. HRA/WEX and OTC will reload funds for upcoming
years to your existing cards. 2026 annual HRA/WEX amount: $1,000 per family and 2026 OTC
annual amount: $400 per person.

Do not confuse Health Care Reimbursement (HRA/WEX) and Over the Counter (OTC); they are
separate benefits. You can use your HRA/WEX to pay certain Medicare expenses, including premiums for Parts A,
B and D, or IRMAA payments. You will need to file a claim for reimbursement. The form is
available to submit once and receive monthly reimbursements until the HRA/WEX benefit is
exhausted.

UnitedHealthcare MA, Blue Cross MA, and Blue Cross ECP members currently enrolled in the
UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (MA) plan, Blue Cross Medicare Advantage (MA) plan,
and the Blue Cross Enhanced Care PPO (ECP) plan will receive new medical ID cards in
December. Also, a separate medical ID card for Optum RX.

The International UAW requested minor changes to the UAW Retiree Chapter 122 by-laws
submission. By-laws were updated and presented. A motion was made and seconded, and the
by-law changes were approved.

A motion made and accepted the following transfers to UAW local 122: Herman Respert, Rafael
Lopez, Robert Bell and Peter Sprockhoff

As of December 12, 2025, Ellen Douglas formally presented a written notification of her
resignation from the position of Secretary of UAW Local 122 Retiree Chapter.

Election for the Secretary position will be held at the next meeting, March 13, 2026.
