EETING MINUTES March 08, 2024

Retiree Chairman Joseph Guarino called the meeting to order on Friday June 14, 2024, at 11:00 am.
The pledge of allegiance was recited followed by a moment of silence for the recently deceased retiree
members.
Recording Secretary, Ellen Douglas asked for a motion to accept March 8, 2024, meeting minutes as written.
A motion was made and second. The meeting minutes were accepted.
Chairman Joseph Guarino requested a motion to suspend the meeting to vote for Executive Board Officers,
Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Recording Secretary and Financial Secretary.
A motion was made and second. Current officers vacant their positions.
According to the bylaws every three (3) year's election of new officers will be held. Ellen Douglas, Recording
Secretary, prepared materials for the Election Committee prior to the election. Election Committee Members
taken charge of the Election. Ballots were distributed for each candidate.
All officers were unopposed therefore declared elected.
Joseph Guarino Chaiman, Phil Schmiedl Vice Chairman, Ellen Douglas Recording Secretary and
Tom Scheutzow Financial Secretary. Swearing in officers will be at the next meeting.

OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:

The Executive Board will not be attending the Leadership Meeting in Black Lake, MI, therefore, extending the
invitation to four retirees to attend instead they must attend all classes. A motion was made and second and accepted. Four retirees volunteered.
At the next meeting on September 13, 2024, UAW Medical Trust will be presenting the 2025 Benefits updates on
all healthcare plans. Also, Healthcare providers with be in attendance.

Register to vote for the November 2024 Election. You have various options to vote. Absentee Ballot, early voting
at the Board of Election and Poll voting on Election Day. Voting changes in Ohio; Previous laws allowed people
who could not provide a photo ID to use a utility bill or another piece of official mail to verify their identity. The
new law accepts only four types of ID: Ohio Driver's License, Ohio identification card, a U.S. Passport, or U.S.
military or veteran's ID. In our democracy society, your voice matters. Do not let confusion about voting keep you
from exercising your right to vote. Don't just for the presidential candidates read the ballot. Vote for Congress
and Senators as well.

The OTC allowance is an annual benefit, but the unused balance will not be carried over to next year.
You'll lose any balance not used. Products may not be purchased somewhere else and submitted for reimbursement.

Motion was made and second to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 PM and lunch
followed.
