EETING MINUTES March 08, 2024

Retiree Chairman Joseph Guarino called the meeting to order on Friday March 8, 2024, at 11:00 am.
The pledge of allegiance was recited followed by a moment of silence for the recently deceased retiree members.

Recording Secretary, Ellen Douglas asked for a motion to accept December 8, 2023, meeting as written.
A motion was made and second. The meeting minutes were accepted.
Chairman Report Joseph Guarino OLD BUSINESS: None, NEW BUSINESS: Retirees made their concerns
known of not having computers as well as computer knowledge, along with everything being digital and not having
anyone to assist them. Hence, it's difficult for them to receive all the information.
Chairman Joseph Guarino, replied to them you always have the option of a phone call.

The UAW International Union is working on a resolution to assist Retirees, more information will be forthcoming.

Assignment of a Benefit Representative within a closer proximity.

Chairmen acknowledge past Presidents of Local 122 attending the meeting Douglas Rice and Charles Spencer.

UAW active members that transfer from UAW Local 122 to other UAW plants and have now retired, the
following retiree membership will be submitted for transfer. Also accepted applications for the following:
Allan Heuer Roy Pugh, Allan Heuer, William Swarts, David Weyand, Daniel Cathey, Robert Schaefer,
Robert Atwood and Thomas Brown. Applications have been approved by affirmative action of the
membership of our Retired Workers Chapter Local 122. Listed retirees' membership transfer will be
processed by the transferee's Financial Secretaries.
According to the bylaws every three (3) year's election of new officers will be held. Will hold election of officers
at the June meeting. Ellen Douglas Recording Secretary will prepare materials for the Election Committee prior to
the election. Six retirees volunteer for the Election Committee. Vice Chairman Report Phil Schmiedl

Primary Election is on March 19, 2024. Early voting has started. In our democracy society, your voice matters.
Do not let confusion about voting keep you from exercising your right to vote. Don't just for the presidential
candidates read the ballot. Vote for Congress and Senators as well.

Financial Secretary Report Tom Scheutzow Retiree members were asked to stand if they had more than 40 years
in retirement. The eldest retiree was 48 years. The UAW has more than 400,000 active members and more than
580,000 retired members in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Next meeting June 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM

Motion was made and second to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 PM
and lunch followed.
